Ravens work out Reynaldo Hill

OWINGS MILLS -- Veteran free agent cornerback Reynaldo Hill recently worked out for the Baltimore Ravens.

Hill is a former Tennessee Titans seventh-round draft pick from the University of Florida.

He wasn't immediately signed to a contract, though.

Hill, 28, last played in the NFL during the 2008 regular season.

In four NFL seasons, he has 26 career starts.

As a rookie, Hill intercepted three passes and returned one 52 yards for a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders.

In 2006, he posted a career-high 56 tackles with two interceptions.

In 2008, he was bypassed on the depth chart by Chris Carr and Eric King.

For his career, Hill has 126 career tackles, one forced fumble and six interceptions.

In college, Hill recorded 57 tackles, one interception and nine pass deflections.

Coming out of college, Hill ran the 40-yard dash in 4.32 seconds and posted a 37 1/2 inch vertical leap.

Regarding Reynaldo Hill: If he still has anything close to 4.3 speed, he deserves a look by the Ravens. However, I think they should be looking for a safety who can tackle. I remember the first Steelers game in Baltimore, where ISAAC REDMAN, just ran over #26 Dwan Landry. We need Safety's who can tackle!

  • 5/24/12: Rookie 2nd round pick Kelechi Osemele took the majority of the first-string repetitions at left guard with Jah Reid rotating in at tackle.
