Ravens try out WR Jeff Webb

OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens worked out former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeff Webb last week.

The unrestricted free agent wasn't signed to a contract, though.

Webb, 28, is a former Chiefs sixth-round draft pick.

He was out of the league this past season.

In three NFL seasons, Webb has played in 31 games with three starts.

The 6-foot-2, 211-pounder has caught 36 career passes for 382 yards and one touchdown.

He played collegiately at San Diego State.

Aaron Wilson covers the Baltimore Ravens for the Carroll County Times and the Annapolis Capital.
