OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday that tight end Quinn Sypniewski and wide receiver Demetrius Williams have signed their one-year, restricted free agent tenders.

Both were assigned the low tender of $1.01 million.

Under NFL rules governing restricted free agents, the Ravens have the right of first refusal to match any competing offer sheet submitted by another team.

If they had opted not to match an offer, they would have been compensated with a fifth-round draft pick and a fourth-round draft pick for Sypniewski and Williams, respectively.

Both players are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents after next season.

Sypniewski was sidelined for all of last season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Williams was placed on injured reserve and underwent surgery on his Achilles' tendon.

Williams caught 13 passes for 180 yards and one touchdown in seven games last season, including a 70-yard reception for a score against the Oakland Raiders.

Both players are expected to be healthy enough to play this season.
