MOBILE, Ala. — The Baltimore Ravens have spoken with former Washington Redskins coach Jim Zorn regarding their quarterbacks coaching vacancy.
A formal interview is expected to take place within the next few days.
The Ravens aren’t in a major rush to fill the opening created when Hue Jackson left to become the Oakland Raiders’ new offensive coordinator.
They also plan to speak with offensive consultant Al Saunders about the position.
While attending the Senior Bowl practices this week, Zorn told 24x7 that he prefers to coach this season and is interested in the job.
It’s believed that Zorn was hoping the Chicago Bears would contact him about their offensive coordinator job, but there’s no mutual interest on the Bears’ part.
Zorn was fired after two seasons by Redskins owner Daniel Snyder.
