OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens are likely to sign at least one veteran defensive back, according to coach John Harbaugh.
The Ravens recently auditioned cornerbacks Walt Harris and Ken Lucas as well as safety Ken Hamlin.
Harris, 35, was particularly impressive during his tryout even though he's coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament that sidelined for the entire season last year with the San Francisco 49ers.
“We brought in some veteran guys that looked pretty good,” Harbaugh said during a WBAL radio interview. ”We tried out some guys, and I think we’ll sign at least one of those guys. We'll be watching that waiver wire pretty closely, because there may be some teams that have to relieve themselves because of budget issues and let a corner go.”
The Ravens are expected to cut at least two players within the next day.
