OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens are expected to officially add well-traveled free agent quarterback Todd Bouman to the roster today as the backup to rookie starter Joe Flacco.
Bouman, 36, would likely be signed to a one-year deal for the veteran minimum salary.

The Ravens, who are thin at quarterback with Kyle Boller (injured throwing shoulder) and Troy Smith (tonsil infection) sidelined, didn't immediately make an announcement regarding Bouman on Tuesday.
The Ravens held discussions with Bouman and Joey Harrington, but Harrington is now planning to visit the New Orleans Saints and continue to explore the market.
Bouman was recently cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars and worked out for the Ravens on Monday along with Harrington and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms.
The Ravens held discussions with Bouman and Joey Harrington, but Harrington is now planning to visit the New Orleans Saints and continue to explore the market.
Bouman was recently cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars and worked out for the Ravens on Monday along with Harrington and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms.
In prior stints with Jacksonville, the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans and the Minnesota Vikings, Bouman has completed 56.1 percent of his career passes for 1,683 yards, 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions for a 75.3 quarterback rating.
He completed 20 of 33 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns during the preseason.
TALKING TACKLE: The agent for free agent offensive tackle Willie Anderson said he has been talking to the Ravens.
Other teams believed to have interest in the former Cincinnati Bengals lineman include the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears.
He completed 20 of 33 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns during the preseason.

Parker was cut Sunday from the active roster, and Harper is a seventh-round draft pick who was cut Saturday.
