RAVENS UPDATE
OWINGS MILLS --  The Baltimore Ravens now have five tight ends left on the roster heading into training camp in Westminster after cutting former University of Maryland tight end Rob Abiamiri.

The 6-foot-2, 240-pound former practice squad member spent the summer with the Berlin Thunder's practice squad after being allocated to NFL Europe by the Ravens.

A Baltimore native and a Mt. St. Joseph graduate, Abiamiri is the older brother of Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive end Victor Abiamiri.

He was signed by Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in 2005 after going undrafted.

Aaron Wilson covers the Baltimore Ravens for the Carroll County Times and the Annapolis Capital.
