WESTMINSTER -- Baltimore Ravens veteran wide receiver Derrick Mason dislocated the middle finger on his right hand, leaving practice Tuesday morning to receive medical treatment.
Although Mason, 35, was visibly in pain at the time of the injury, it's not regarded as serious.
"We don't anticipate any problems," said Ravens coach John Harbaugh, adding that Mason would get it X-rayed and probably jammed the finger.
Mason later returned to the practice field with his finger wrapped up. He didn't have it in a splint.
Mason injured his finger while trying to haul in a pass from quarterback Joe Flacco.
With the two-time Pro Bowl selection injuring his finger, it adds to the mounting list of injured wide receivers.
That includes Mark Clayton (left hamstring) and Demetrius Williams (right hamstring) with Clayton out for at least two to three preseason games.
