OWINGS MILLS — The Baltimore Ravens have scheduled former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Marlin Jackson for a visit early this week.

A former first-round draft pick from the University of Michigan, Jackson wasn’t tendered by the Colts as a restricted free agent due to his history of knee problems.

Jackson has suffered two torn anterior cruciate ligaments, so the results of a physical for him will be vitally important.

The Minnesota Vikings have been rumored to also be interested in Jackson, but nothing concrete has materialized.

Unless he’s healthy after being limited to four games last season, Jackson is a curious fit for the Ravens who also have two other cornerbacks coming off torn anterior cruciate ligaments in Fabian Washington and Lardarius Webb.

Jackson recorded 10 tackles and one interception last season before tearing his ACL and lateral meniscus during a practice session.

For his career, he has intercepted four passes.
