The Beat with Aaron Wilson - Colts sign Adam Terry

Colts sign Adam Terry

OWINGS MILLS -- Former Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Adam Terry has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

Terry is a former second-round draft pick from Syracuse who didn't receive a tender from the Ravens as a restricted free agent, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Despite ideal size and good blocking skills, he never lived up to expectations

Terry received some interest from the Miami Dolphins, but just wound up visiting the Colts this week.

He didn't play in any games last season due to a knee injury that required surgery.

Terry has said he's making good progress from the injury.

Injuries, including ankle problems, hindered Terry's development in Baltimore.

The 6-foot-8, 335-pound lineman started 18 games for the Ravens and appeared in 48, but durability concerns affected his prospects.

When he's healthy, Terry has value as a tackle who can play on the left or right side.
