Ken Weinman: The A-List
Station: 105.7 FM
Slot: Weekdays 6 - 9 PM
National Media partner: ESPN Radio

Styling: Cadillac Escalade

Overview:  The A-List with Ken Weinman delivers massive amounts of sports talk with just the right amount of intelligent analysis you want from a local sports talk radio show. Weinman who got his start on the airwaves in Baltimore, sojourned to the Pacific Northwest and back again, can dissect the Hall of Fame merits of Mike Mussina in one sentence and then drop a South Park reference on you in the next. This show has pace, is full of updates on all the big local stories and keeps you in the know on the national seen.  Weinman keeps the tangents to a minimum because he likes to interact with callers. When I listen to this show I feel like I’m at my favorite sports bar for happy hour.Star rating:  9.0

Performance & Handling: When you climb in to this vehicle you feel like the king of the road. The handling is very smooth for a machine packing this much horsepower. Flip on the cruise control, kick back and rest assured this beast will get you to your sports information destination. This truck has plenty of room for all of your sports-junkie buddies so pile in and go for a ride. Star rating:  8.5

Standard features: Interviews with national sports writers from upcoming opponents for the Orioles and Ravens. Player and coaching performance analysis. Sound bytes from noteworthy national stories like the recent Don Imus flap over Pacman Jones. Local callers are integrated into the show better than any other option on the dial. Star rating:  8.5

Accessories: This truck comes loaded; you won’t be driving home from the dealer feeling like you wished you could have afforded an upgraded model. Star rating:  9.0

Buyer beware: It’s not easy to find this vehicle in stock. Sometimes you can find it at a local dealer and other times you can’t. I suggest you keep trying...especially on nights when the Orioles are off night. Star rating:  7.0

Recommendation: This model has it all and although it might be a little pricier than other choices in terms of the time invested finding the A-List  on your radio dial, it is more than worth the investment.  The A-List is at the top of the class for value and performance. Star rating:  9.0

Overall score out of 60:  51
