Panthers, Lions, Jaguars, and Vikings have the bye
Cardinals, Kevin Kolb is still slowed by a foot injury, Jon Skelton could start vs. the Rams this week…Chris Wells and Alfonso Smith have a great match up vs. the 32nd ranked run defense of the Rams, they are allowing 165.6 yards a game on the ground and 5.2 yards a carry
Falcons, RB Michael Turner has rushed for 317 yards and three scores his last three games…he faces the 31st ranked run defense of the Colts, who allow more than 140 yards a game on the ground and have given up 10 rushing scores
Ravens, WR Lee Evans is still not practicing, Torrey Smith will get the start Sunday against the Steelers
Bills, great match up this week for RB Fred Jackson, the Jets are 25th against the run allowing almost 127 yards a game on the ground, and they have given up nine rushing scores
Bears, WR Earl Bennett had been cleared to play, when he is healthy he is a favorite target of his college teammate Jay Cutler, this will diminish Roy Williams’ receptions
Bengals, the Bengals were undefeated in October for the first time since 1975, a year they finished 11-3, but were only the AFC Wildcard because they played in the same division as the 12-2 Steelers.
Browns, RB Montario Hardesty will miss two weeks with an injury, Peyton Hillis has been a mystery, my bet is he misses this week, Chris Ogbonnaya, by the way the G is silent in his name, will get the start and most of the touches, the Browns signed him from the Houston practice squad, Houston is 12th against the run, allowing 97.4 yards a game
Houston, WR Andre Johnson missed another practice, my take is he will not be back to week twelve when Houston comes back from their bye at Jacksonville
Jaguars, WR Mike Sims-Walker has been placed on injured reserve with an illness, ending a strange season for him…WR Jason Hill is playing solid despite having rookie Blaine Gabbert throwing to him
Dolphins, RB Daniel Thomas has practiced some this week, even if he plays against the Chiefs, he will be limited, Reggie Bush and Steve Slaton will share most of the carries
Patriots, RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been slowed this week with a foot injury, expect to see Kevin Faulk rushing the ball this Sunday and not just catching passes out of the backfield
Giants, WR Mario Manningham has missed some practices this week but will play against the Patriots in what is a great match up for the Giant passing game, the Patriots are 32nd against the pass, allowing 323 yards a game…RB Ahmad Bradshaw, despite conflicting reports should play this week, although he will be slowed by a foot injury, which should mean more touches Brandon Jacobs.
Raiders, RB Darren McFadden is not playing this week against the Broncos, you will see a heavy dose of Michael Bush and Taiwan Jones will see a few carries…Raiders signed veteran WR TJ Houshmandzadeh, he will play this week
Chargers, RB Mike Tolbert could have a solid fantasy day against the Packers with Chris Brinkley and Ryan Matthews likely to miss Sunday’s game
49’ers, RB Frank Gore has 400 rushing yards his last three games, and is averaging 6.1 yards a carry those games
Seahawks, Tarvaris Jackson who has been a quiet pleasant surprise for the Seahawks at quarterback will start this week against the Cowboys
Buccaneers, RB LaGarrette Blount will be back this week but only for few plays, Kregg Lumpkin will get most of the touches against the Saints’ 28th ranked run defense, they allow 124.1 yards a game and a league worst 5.5 yards a carry, I hate the tag sleeper but Lumpkin fits that role this week
Titans, RB Chris Johnson remains the starter, it is not him, it is the run blocking, Javon Ringer would not provide any more value then Johnson
Redskins, John Beck will start at quarterback against the 49’ers, San Francisco is playing great defense but is due for a letdown after having to make another east coast trip.
