Behind the Numbers - BEHIND THE NUMBERS: Tracking the Ravens Passing Game

After 5 games air attack is slipping

BEHIND THE NUMBERS: Tracking the Ravens Passing Game

What a difference two weeks can make. The passing game statistics clearly reflect the recent struggles of the offense. Turnovers in the red zone have dropped Joe Flacco’s QB rating to a season low 90.2.

Now the offense faces three straight games against defenses currently ranked in the top 10. A solid passing game needs to be able to take advantage of the soft spot in a defense. Last week vs. the Bengals that area was in the middle beyond the linebackers and Cam Cameron could not solve the puzzle. The next three games will determine if the Ravens are contenders or pretenders.  If the passing game continues to decline, don’t look for the Ravens to make the playoffs.

Check BTN next week to see where Joe Flacco and the passing game stand.
