Andrew Gershman was born and raised as a sports fan in Richmond, Virginia. In the Summer of 2009 Andy moved with his family to Jerusalem, Israel. Shortly after, he appeared weekly as a co-host of the American Sports Talk Show on RustyMike Radio. The show featured interviews and talk with some of the biggest names in sports from the US and Israel. In October of 2010 Andy, along with 2 other partners, launched Israel Sports Radio, the first all sports talk network in the Middle East. The American Sports Talk show moved to a nightly format and once again featured guests from around the world. in addition to radio, Andy has written blogs for Israel Sports Radio and appeared in the Jerusalem Post.
Andy holds a BS from Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Andy and his family recently moved back to the US and currently live in Silver Spring, Maryland.
